Advice Needed on Gaming PC!

Hi all,

First time building my own gaming PC and had been doing some research on DIY PCs. I would greatly appreciate some advice on the below specified components:

Motherboard: MSI Z87-GD45 Gaming - $532
CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K Quad-Core Processor 3.40 GHZ (included with Motherboard)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212x - $113
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX770 Gaming OC 2GB - $549
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 1600 MHz (2x4GB) - $113
Power Supply: Corsair CS750M Modular 750W 80+ Bronze $135
SSD: Corsair Neutron GTX 120GB - $165
HDD: WD 3TB Caviar Green 5400 rpm - $143
Optical Drive: ASUS (DRW-24D3ST 24x DVDRW SATA) - 28

Chasis: NZXT ca-ph410-w2 Phantom 410 Mid Tower USB 3.0 Gaming Case White with Blue Trim - $???

I would like to know:

1) if this will make a decent gaming computer (at least sustainable for gaming in the next several years),

2) if the power supply is sufficient and lastly,

3) if the chasis provides sufficient space/ventilation.

Help needed!

wait for i4690k + z97 msi mobo

Get smaller PSU. 770 no need 750W. 550W 80+ bronze rated can liao. Unless you planning on SLI next time. You also can get the R9 280x for cheaper but same performance unless you need CUDA or PHYSX.

RAM get the value ones, no point spending on higher quality ones unless you going extreme high end and want to do heavy OC etc. 2 x 4GB 1600 MHz roughly ~$95?

HDD get a 7200rpm one. Install your games on there. You're not going to have much fun if you plan to install your games on the SSD (not enough space) or the green drive (not fast enough).

SSD if you don't mind, like what others have suggested, get from Amazon.

Optical drive just get the Samsung/LG OEM one. No difference with your ASUS except that they are cheaper.

According to Cybermind / Fuwell's priceguides, for 2x4gb rams are usually slightly between $100~$120.

I agree with the HDD suggestion. Probably I'll switch it out for a 7200rpm HDD instead.
