Advice on 8d7n itinerary

Hi there,

Me and 3 other friends will be going to Taiwan on the 3/4. Our hotel will be located at XMD area (Rainbow Hotel).
This is our first trip to Taiwan so need more suggestions. Main purpose is to eat, entertainment & bit of shopping

Only managed to complete day 1. Still need more advise and suggestions!

Day 1
- Flight departs @ 2.30PM
- Flight arrive @ 7.00 PM
- Clear immigration
- Purchase prepaid card w/ data plan
- Meet up with driver to ferry us to our hotel
- Check-in hotel
- Wash up and head out
- Club LUXY (Friends want to experience the vibe on the first day)

Day 2
- Beitou (Friends and i want to have some hotspring)
- ZhongXiao DunHua (visit Take5, Faith, Summit and Thurs for some underground labels)
- Shilin Nightmarket (first nightmarket we will be heading i guess )

But u booked all taipei stay, think u got ample time to explore.
Add one day for yehliu+ nanya rock+jinguashi+jiufen.
Another day for pingxi line n keelung night market. That is two days for u liao.

you can do jiufen,jinguashi, rueifang- pinxi(shufen), keelung bu public transport in 1 day but got to wake up real early
-morning take train from taipei main station to rueifang- pinxi line(shifen) jalan japan, put sky lantern, go see waterfall,
-take train back to rueifang the cross the road infront of the train station and it can go to jiufen and terminates at jinguashi,
-after done with jiufen and jinguashi, can take the bus near 7-11 at jiufen back to keelung and have your seafood dinner before taking train back to taipei from keelung train station

might be a bit rush, if your in a group larger than 4, more worthwhile to book driver, but otherwise, go public and by foot... Be BOLD, thats why it's called free and easy

you can try Cingjing area, spend 2 or 3 nights there, can do alishan,

for trekking then you can go to hualien and book a tour for taroko Gorge

Bold ones mean together a day. If u find cabby will be faster if not wait for bus lor.

Trekking will be either yms climb up to 攀天崗。or fulong 草嶺古道。or in taipei, up 四獸山. See sunset of the taipei plains.
