HELLOOOO
I'm in my 1st semester studying accounting in SIM-RMIT
Would like to seek advice on looking for internships
Specifically,
-Other than websites like jobstreet, how else do i look for internships?
-Do companies hire inexperienced interns?
-Any way I could buff myself up before undertaking internships (Learning software programs etc)
-How long do internships last?
-I heard from a senior that I should start looking for low-tier companies first, as these companies would be more willing to take me in due to my lack of experience
-Is it possible to only do internships during the holidays(2 months). I am hoping to be completely focused in class
-How early should I start looking for internships? (a month before?)

Any advice would most definitely be valued !
THANKSSSSSSSSS :s22::s22::s22:

Yes possible to do internship for less than 2 months. My industry was in media though so it might be more fluid and flexible.

Personally i have tried asking once for 2 weeks cos my friend was working in an sme.

Small company, the 2 bosses were warm abd friendly and felt that they wanted to teach or other companies just needed an extra hand. Of course, the pay was very little la so.

Accounting i am not too sure,since i am also studying part-time accounting. I would do the same thing as you,except that my present full-time job does not allow me to moonlight in any way. Perhaps you can try around knocking on several sme doors first.

You can try beehivee too
