Advice on Gaming Rig

Hi folks, been a while since I visited here. Super rusty with the new stuff so would like to ask the bros here for some advice.

My computer refused to start up, noticed that one of my ram has a burnt gold pin so I decided to purchase some new parts

Looking at the following:

CPU+MOBO : Asus H110M-A M.2 + i5-7500 (EDIT: on second thoughts, the SATA slots are terrible on this board..)
RAM : KVR DDR4 16GB
GPU : Enough to power 2x 1080p monitors, thinking of getting either a 1070 or 1080, any advice?

Nothing wrong with cpu mobo ram. If dual monitor setup, usually you only game on one and the other one on windows or other stuff like YouTube or twitch? If this is the scenario, a gtx 1070 is more than adequate and you don't need a gtx 1080 at all.

Also, 1080p monitors at 60hz? Or 1 running 144hz 1 running 60hz or both running 144hz? This affects quite a lot too

currently 1080p at 60hz, might have intention to change to 144hz.

One usually game with the other one on browser watching video.

The mobo only has 4 sata slots, any advice on this? I have quite a number of disks, currently using 5 sata slots

Type of games u play? If it's just Dota/csgo/LOL or similar games can even go for the 1060 6GB. But if u are aiming for triple A titles then I feel it's safer to go for 1070 ba

Depends your budget lor. Also if you need it to be rgb or not? Essentially all are the same as lower factory oc can manually oc to match those higher end factory oc card.

Zotac mini or Palit dual is the cheapest you can get. But during high loads, it can get noisy like an Intel cpu fan.

Higher end models like zotac amp edition that I'm using not as noisy. Also as mentioned above, see if you're going for rgb aesthetic or not. If you don't mind second hand, go dig carousell or hwz graphic bazaar.

Pricing about 499 during a legit good sales from Qoo10. Normal time is around 550 or so for these lower end gtx 1070 like zotac mini and Palit dual. Performance wise, it's all about the same, only difference in aesthetic, noise and OC headroom due to cooler effectiveness (and silicon lottery)
