Advice on new rig

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting in hardware clinic so haha

I am planning to build a new rig soon and i would like to hear comments/advice on them, i welcome both good and bad so would really appreciate your input and also what i should change but please if it is possible please tell me why as i would like to learn too.

Thinking of(price is at best buy price list some parts cannot find so other price list) :
Asus Z87 PRO with 4770k - $359+ $360
GPU : I have a powercooler 7950 on my hand currently and thinking of buying another 7950 to do a crossfire on it. do you think it is feasible? or should i just go for other single graphic card? - $388
PSU : i dont know what psu i should get, can i have a recommendation ?
Ram: GSkill 1866MHZ 8GB - $120
i like to watercool my cpu with Corsair h100 - $160
ssd plextor m5 pro 120gb - $159
hdd 2tb - $128
dvd - $20
window 7 64 bit- $112

and also the case, i really like the nzxt phantom 410 case or the 530 one but i heard that now for its price and the airflow is not as good as the other case or am i wrong? should i get the 410 or 530 for this type of set up? and is there enough space for triple crossfire in the future? - $160 (nzxt410)

Total will be $1966 without the PSU + some fans

Should i get the 4670k instead of the 4770k?
I will be o/cing my cpu and i will be using the rig for gaming and 3dsmax, i hope to run all the new games at high/extreme with good fps.

My colour theme will be the white phantom 410 with blue led, the mobo with gold color was a bit putting me off , but i saw some existing rig pictures and felt that it is not that bad as i first thought.

Either 1 still can run.

Well ts its entirely your choice. If you wanna have more headroom then best is go for 850w.

You can get the Corsair RM850 850w 80+ gold ~ $209. Seasonic x850 850w 80 + gold ~ $219

Cause what I found out is that 850w onwards the psu starts to be more expensive.

I do have a spare 850w psu. If you want can pm me also.

I was thinking on Maximus IV hero or the msi gd65 if i get the 540 air as i change my color scheme to black and red ( im really new to mobo so can you enlighten me? thanks )

And than the GPU, i dont have a 7970, I only have 1 7950 with me now, so if i were to crossfire. I need to buy another 7950 which is $388 and than you said with R9 280x 3GB which is another $439?
Does that mean i have 1 crossfire 7950 and another R9 280x in my rig? And how does it work? i only know about crossfire and sli but didnt know i can run different gpu, so if i were to run a game, i will be making use of all the 3 GPU together?

Is there anyway i can get a custom water cooling instead of a AIO ? I never use h110 or the h100i before so i hear that it is kind of loud? and also a lot people change the default fans of the radiator to their choice?

Im planning to overclock my cpu to 4.3 to 4.5 if possible, so may i ask which fans should i get?

Ah I thought you were using the 7970. My bad. But yes you still can be used and xfire with the 7950. The only thing the r9 280x will be slowed down due to the 7950. Can buy the 7950 but not really worth it imo.

Ok for mobo. Its expensive to buy an Asus board. Not unless you use all the features on it and also wouldn't mind paying more for a premium brand. You can get the same performance from either the z87 g45gaming or the gd65 gaming. Gaming mobo has a red and black dragon theme. Go MSI website check it out.

The only diff is he gd65 has is more power phases with the genie button to oc.

If you want custom water it is expensive and you must know what you are doing. Else a normal aio water cooled is simple and easy to use. Maintainence free also

But since you gonna do super mild oc thn just get a simple air cooler will do. Don't need an aio.
