I have come out with a list as follows:

1) GPU - ASUS HD 7850 DIRECTCU 2GB DCU ($288/296)
2) RAM - KINGSTON PC3-1600 DDR3 4GB X 2 (Price Unknown)
3) PSU - ANTEC 550W (Price Unknown)
4) FAN - DEEPCOOL GAMMAXX ARCHER ($9)
5) HDD - WESTER DIGITAL 1TB GREEN (Price Unknown)
6) CPU+MOBO - I5-3470 & ASROCK B75M-DGS ($297)

Gotten off TradePac

I usually surf the net, watch youtube, games like maple, FPS, dota 2 etc. Not many fanciful games.

Do you think I need a SSD?

Budget for just the CPU without any other things would be about 700-900.

Do you guys think it is okay/suitable?

WD Caviar Green is terrible :D Change it to Seagate, Hitachi or Toshiba. WD's other offerings are overpriced.
Get a Seasonic S12II 520W. It's $89 I think.
Also, you need a case. A basic one (Antec Solo/One etc) costs ~$60 brand new.
If you're getting a 1600MHz dual-channel RAM kit it'll set you back $90+.
A GTX650Ti Boost 2GB is slightly better than the HD7850 2GB at the same price. The Leadtek or Palit versions should do fine and will be cheaper.

Buy and build at Tradepac.

Tradepac offers the cheapest price but newbies have to be aware of their zero after-sales services and ALWAYS check your items before leaving the store. Lastly, don't be swayed to upgrade and buy more expensive components which you don't require.

May I ask why the i5-4430 instead of the i5-3470?

Is it because it is newer as compared to the other?

Will there be any difference if I were to input 4gb ram x 2 instead of a 8gb ram x 1?

i5-4430 is newly released Haswell CPU while i5-3470 is previous gen ivy bridge CPU.

IIRC, 2x4GB will run in dual channel and increase the memory bandwidth. However, for your usage, I doubt you will feel any real world difference between single and dual channel ram.
