After Fairprice weight saga, can we trust SG weight? Gold/pawn shop?

Even big cooperation like Fairprice fail in their weighing system...im going to check all my gold weight later...gold if out by 1 gram, i lose $90+gst...

If the ginna pi have trust issues, go out just bring whatever equipment you need to verify in case get cheated.

digital weighing scale now less than $10 online ........

hard part is caclulate out the gold content since jewellery got add other alloy to make it harder for everyday wearing , pure gold get deformed from pulling and crushing

i mean if you are heavily into gold and silver trading, you can buy your own precision weighing scales, they don't cost much. like a few thousand dollars can get a good one. and if you want to be even more precise, can send it to SGS/TUV to get it certified accurate.

then bring your own certified accurate precision weighing scales to pawnshops/gold shops to weight the items yourself.
