When your mobile phone contract of 24months has ended and you have yet to recontract, will the services you've been given for the past 24 months, e.g Unlimited SMS, be continued till you recontract, or will your plan be reduced to the basic plan after a certain period of time?
I was holding the Singtel Student Plan which entitle me to unlimited SMS and free incoming call. The contract has expired on Dec 2012, but I had only planned to recontract on the coming Apr. My previous bills for the past 3 months had all still been given unlimited SMSes.
However, there was an extra fine sentence of "Unlimited Local SMS ends 23rd February" which apparently I had missed out on reading. And when I received my bill for my last month, it amounted to more than $150 due to my high usage of SMS. However, I was not sure if the unlimited SMS was supposed to be continued on until I recontract, or they can just remove it only giving me just an uninformed additional fineprint as notice?
