I am considering purchasing AFTERSHOCK PC.
After comparing price against PC THEMES price list, the difference is only $140 for ULTRACORE and $189 for HYPERGATE.
I assumed the PSU supplied is equivalent to SEASONIC M 12II-MODULAR as that is the only component that is not listed.
Benefit is that I will get 3/2 years onsite warranty and system will be assembled for me with proper cable management.
Usage is gaming on Dell U2414H.
Please advise which one I should get, or I should consider other alternatives.

ULTRACORE $3,389. PC THEMES $3,249.

really up to you. you want ownself do or you want people do for you for next 2/3 years.
Last time I convince someone to DIY, their PC need troubleshooting they shoot me like i con their money :s22: I fix somemore :s22::s22:

If you want to DIY must say, need to check PSU power requirement again

Hypergate specs should be good enough for 1080p 60fps already. You want you can spend more on storage. Which game you want to play?

looking at the spec, getting ultracore is more worth as diff of S$600 can get you better spec

i5-8400 to i7-8700k - diff about S$265 (PCT), but if you dont oc, its a waste to get K variant
1070 to 1080 - diff about S$221 (lazada)
3 years warranty including 3 year on site pickup and delivery
Full tempered glass chassis
Better freebies
120GB to 240GB SSD - diff about S$85.00 (lazada)
1TB to 2TB HDD

if compare pc theme and aftershock, i'll go aftershock anytime. pctheme only good for those that have good relationship with them

My current PC is DIY and I know how to troubleshoot.
Problem is I do not have the spare parts to troubleshoot most of the time.

AFTERSHOCK is 550W for Hypergate and 850W for Ultracore.
Actually according to Tom's Hardware, RX 580 4GB or GTX 1060 6GB is the best GPU for the money @ 1080p.

I will like to play games like:
Divinity: Original Sin II
XCOM 2: War of the Chosen
Total War: WARHAMMER II

also, you can get your own gpu using sales from this 11.11 or black friday, then contact them to install it for u. probably save u some money.

but do warn that the gpu will not be under their warranty and if anything spoilt due to the gpu is not covered also.

im planning to get aftershock hypergate also..still in contact with them to trash out the details.

cable management,
cpu thermal paste,
warranty,
RGB hue placement
case airflow

i think its worth it even if its S$300 to S$400 more

True, Ultracore definitely more bang for the buck.
I was very surprised that the premium charged by AFTERSHOCK is so little.
I was expecting around $500 higher than DIY.

if you spend the time to wait for sales and grab deals from amazon, lazada, qoo, carousell, negotiating etc...you'll definitely save more than S$500. but the time spent to search for this deals is long and troublesome.

thats why im considering aftershock also :s13:

Cool, what specs are you looking at?
For simplicity I will just order from them.
I checked on Carousell that my GTX 960 can still sell for $150. :s13:
