Agoda cashback like not much use?

I book mostly with agoda because their prices usually lowest when i compare with the others. But I hardly get to use the cashback because there is only a 1-2 months validity i think because i just keep seeing my cashback expire only?

takes so long to be credited, but once credited, only valid for 1 month !

Agoda cashback rewards, dun bother, troublesome. Takes months before "cashback". U need to manually request after months u left the hotel. Fill in credit details, etc then another few months to be credited. Majority will not remember or monitor this.

Just book with the platform which offers the best rates. Hotels, agoda, trips...etc.

there r 2 different things :

1) Agoda Cash - this has very short validity, can offset next booking cost ... this is rather useless

2) Agoda Cashback Reward - this is not so common, only offered through specific Agoda landing sites (I think) or when using Agoda App. These can only be redeemed via the App, to be credited back to the Credit Card. Much longer expiry and Agoda sends email to inform you of the availablity to cash out. I find this is OK.

7 days is agoda cash which u use for next booking. valid 1 mth

agoda cashback is for you to transfer to a cc to cash out. different rewards.

I requested for cachback to be transfered to my card and the email I received said the processing takes 7 working days.

oceanicmanta saying that the cashback is make available for withdrawal after 1 month from checkout date. the processing date is from the day that you request for the withdrawal. So min would be 1 mth + approximately 7days assuming you request the withdrawal once cashback is available.​

Yes. I waited for 1 month. After that 1 month, the request option became available and I made the request and received an email saying the processing takes 7 working days. in total I have waited for more than 2 months but still in pending status.

agoda only allows request to be made after a month has passed. I mentioned I requested. that means the option has been made available for me to make the request. sorry I didn't make it clear previously.

no. it just go to your card. not sure what happen if u use a debit card.

If its invalid, it'd reject. I tried wise and the system rejected the card. but accepted the other debit card.. not sure if that's system validation error..

So did you get your cashback in the end? I’m in the same boat as you, already followed the process to submit request, it has been saying “7 days” for 4 months. Now it’s approaching its expiry date so I’m not sure will it be a case of in the end it still expires before me receiving the money.

It will still go to the debit card.

I requested for the amount to go to my YouTrip card. It was in USD. I didn't want to 'suffer' a conversion rate so opt for it to go to the YouTrip card instead.

For the cashback , what currency do you choose to credit back to CC? SGD? was thinking to cashback to CC with SGD, or change to USD and credit back to youtrip etc.

my cashback is credited to my SGD bank account
