SINGAPORE - Japan’s ANA Group announced on Oct 30 that it will cease operations of its low-cost carrier Air Japan from March 2026.

The parent company of All Nippon Airways said in a statement on its website that this comes amid a decision to restructure its brand strategy.

It also cited concerns with changes in the global environment, such as the war in Ukraine and aircraft delivery delays, which are set to continue.

In addition, the group is also managing the ongoing aircraft on the ground (AOG) situation regarding its Boeing 787 aircraft, it said.
AOG refers to when an aircraft is unable to fly due to technical reasons.
To optimise its allocation of resources, the group said it has decided to suspend its Air Japan flights and will instead focus on its ANA and Peach brands.

Air Japan will fly its final Singapore to Narita route on March 29.

i think it's due to parent airline not enough plane, so withdraw allocation

due to delays in new plane delivery perhaps?
