Some airlines have implemented this no show fees but how are they enforce?

If one will to be miss the flight due to sickness does he need to pay?

Does travel insurance provide such coverage?

Yes, no show fee has to be paid regardless of whatever reasons. Some airlines like SQ, you don't have to pay if you are a pps member. No show fee is collected when you try to make a reservation under the same ticket (nbr) where you did a no show for.

If you are sick, doctor must write a memo with the heading, doctor signature, conditions, which dates you not able to fly ... Failure to do so before the trip would result in the no show fees. Normally for full fledged airline, they would have this clause.

Insurance would definitely require the necessary documents including the doctor's memo. Normally if the airline have refund the full payments to you, dont think insurance would refund you again ... Hotels perhaps they would pay to you ...

No show means not turning up for your flight without informing the aiines (at least a certain nbr of hours ahead). If you are sick and can't fly for whatever reasons, etc, and you call the airline to cancel your flight, say four hours prior to departure, that is not a no show.

If you not feeling well, without the doctor memo, can call in to the airline to cancel the flight, wont have no show charge rite ? if no doctor memo, wont get back refund rite ?

my friend called cathay to cancel the trip, the airline says need the doctor memo to show that he or she is not able to fly. within 2 days, they process the documents, and refunded the full amount to the cc ...

You don't seem to know the difference between a no show and a cancellation.
