When does the airline usually have their promos? My wife tells me usually in September and ask me to wait before buying.

Answer - some time during a year.

You are not telling about which airline and which destination.

Promos are all year round...

Your question is so wide and vague.

Everytime ... You just have to 247 keep a lookout everywhere ...
some promo starts 0001am, some 0700, some 0800, etc
also your travel dates plays a part ...
all the experts here would more or less tell u the same thing

when cheapest, we dunno ... you can book today at 150sgd, few weeks later, your travel date price might dropped to 120sgd, cox airline left many seats, closer to the travel date.

As long as your travel dates are flexible, there will be promo most of the time.

Early bird prices are always good.

If not you can subscribe to all the airline marketing email and go in to book once they release the promo.

Not likely to have promo. Australia and NZ are extremely popular destinations in Dec as they are the few countries that's summer during that period. A lot of Europeans will fly via Singapore to Australia and NZ. Good earning route for the airlines and the SG to NZ routes are pretty monopolized.
