Have been lurking in this forum for the longest of time.Have learnt a fair bit from here.
I am planning a side trip to Seattle before heading to Mississippi to visit my sister. Would like to know which airline to take from Singapore to Seattle.
Usually I would make SFO my gateway.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Which dates are you looking at?

Very few airlines fly to Seattle from Singapore(with 1 stopover).
They are Delta Airlines, ANA , Korean Air, Asiana Airlines and EVA Air. United used to have flights but ceased operating as they have codesharing agreement with ANA.

Right now Delta is having a promo from 1.5k(selected dates, book by 5th march) and another promo at 2.1k. Personally flew Delta and didnt like the service, so YMMV.

Singapore to U.S.
Singapore to North America Selected Cities

If your budget is not a problem, consider ANA. 6am depart SG and arrive seattle at 11am so u get a full day. They are using the newer Boeing 787 plane which is more comfortable too, however their seats are fixed back shell.

KAL is known for their service and food. Their breakfast bibimbap is a must try.

As for Seattle, how many days have u allocated to the region? U can add a few days to explore Victoria Island and Vancouver,BC if u want :)

I am only going to stay for 3 nights in Seattle. Just to break up the trip as I have my sister who is in her 70s.
You seem like a well travelled person. So any recommendation for accommodations in Seattle?

Afraid not. So happen Im going to Seattle too in June so that's why I have the info to share with you. :)

As for the hotel, one month is kinda last minute to find a good pricing. Check out Hilton Seattle and Hotel Andra, both in downtown and easy reach of most attractions. Not sure of ur apr dates, but for Hotel Andra i found some dates starting from 200 USD.

Leisure or business? Hotel rates are high during summer.
We will be staying in a bed and breakfast place. Close to pike place market.
