Airport $ Changer Exact Location

Hi,

Hope some bros can share with me your knowledge.
I read that Money Exchanger at Taoyuan Airport offers very competitive rates. The last time I arrived at Terminal 1 at 0530am with Jetstar, I didn't spot any Money Exchanger on both Air-side (passenger area) and Land-side (public area).

-Is it at the Baggage collection area? or is it before the customs? is it on Land-side?

-Need those that are open 24hrs because Im arriving at 0530am with scoot this time.

-What is the temperate like in May? Its only 2mths after winter so it will be still 'just right'?

Rates at Taiwan DBS is the best...

If SG is giving about 23.5, dont expect Taoyuan to be alot higher..

Megabank has slightly better rates than Bank of Taiwan...

Temp in May..Expect it to be hot(Like SG) with some rain..

So you normall just bring a small sum of TWD to take bus to Taipei and
then go to DBS to buy most of your needed TWD there. any risk ma?

So you always just bring a small sum of TWD to take bus to Taipei and then go to DBS to buy 90% of your needed TWD there.

Usually what most of us would do is change some in SG, bring the remainder over to change over there and have 200-300 spare SGD incase NTD runs low during the trip..

N dun expect bank to open on weekend for u. Banks usually opened till 4 on weekdays.

Yes, best bring along ur another id justin case need two or u forgotten to bring ur passport. N smile!

dont have. go to TW DBS website. there lists all the branches you can go. but not all branches have money changer. I only know sun yat sen MRT station there DBS has money changing

Sun yat sen one is best to go, coz got landmark n not waste ur trip just to change money...
