Forgot to ask, are there clean toilets at the major subways for kids? Changing diapers, cranky control, etc.

Try the toilets at the larger stations like Ueno, Tokyo, Shinagawa...

Smaller stations and metro subway stations might have less chance of diaper changing tables.

But generally speaking, the toilets in the train stations are pretty clean (in my opinion) and most of the time there's toilet paper supplied as well.

Guess I am lucky yet to see it my first visit there. And gosh I tot Seoul was horrible with the packed train and I only survived the two stops as the doors opened alternate sides.

Saturday mornings are much better than weekdays' mornings.
I took JR Joban line (again) on a Saturday morning and the 3 of us were able to catch the train with all our large luggage bags with us.

Haha I got caught in the Seoul's train rush hour human sardine before. It was a total nightmare as people could still squeeze themselves into the train even though it's like totally full already :/ but then again, the good thing is that you will never lose your balance because there's totally no space to fall as you will be so tight together..

[need to change to Rinkai line at Osaki station. both Saikyo and Yamanote line goes to Osaki station. alternatively, take Yamanote line to Shimbashi and change to Yurikamome line. this route is more scenic coz the Yurikamome line goes over the rainbow bridge]

Shinjuku --> Ueno (JR Saikyo)
[dun think Saikyo line goes to Ueno. Take Yamanote line]

Shinjuku --> Oshiage (Shinjuku line, change at Sumiyoshi for Hanzomon line)

Shinjuku --> Disneyland/sea (JR Chuo line, change at Tokyo for JR Keiyo line)
[yup. JR Musashino line also goes from Tokyo to Maihama]

comments above. u can check all then trains using Hyperdia:
