The fast-food veteran, who previously spent 17 years as a franchisee for American sandwich chain Subway, sees this as his chance to demolish typical fast-food stereotypes.

His goals are threefold: to prioritise reputational excellence over pure sales; to welcome guests of all backgrounds – the restaurant will not use pork, though it does not yet plan to apply for halal certification; and to cement Chick-fil-A’s position as Singapore’s best-loved chicken restaurant.

Ya lor. Imagine paying 7 days of rent for 6 days of operation. Dunno if it's part of the franchisee agreement.

Of course have to be!

Get back to US Bosses that open Sunday be very funny.

Is it going to be Halal also , which would also seem counter to its "Christian Ethos"

I only hope that the chicken pieces will be of decent size and meals is within $10.

some foreign 'fast food' like to tok Sinkies, asking for exorbitant prices just for chicken.

i cant even pronounce the restaurant's name, not eating

The name is not something to fret over.

It was named Chick-fil-A to sound like filet, like Filet-O-Fish. It's called that way for uneducated Americans to pronounce filet correctly.

The unfortunate side effect is that a number of Americans now no longer know the correct spelling of filet (US English) or fillet (UK English). When asked, they'll answer "F I L... A?".
