Please feel free to ask any questions!

Purpose of thread is to share information, get new perspectives from people and to kill time.

Did it on Binance futures trading with capital of about $30K.

Edit: Updated a post from 2013 to share that I’ve started for almost 10 years. For the purpose of honest and meaningful discussions.

Update 1:

Lost almost 80% (From 857K USDT) on the night of FTX where BTC and crypto fell by 20-50% a night. Got whipped sawed.

Decided to move to futures trading on Index for better sustainability, as movements are not as wide as Crypto.

Update 2:

Managed to withdraw 1M SGD from CFD account to UOB account, mainly trading on US futures, started with about 50k SGD and took about 3 months.

Is FX as risky as day trading in shares?

Need to master FX options?
FX I think you may have to play with leverage.

I have not leveraged for shares trading but personally I feel in terms of risk level,

1. Crypto (daily movement about 1-10%)
2. Index (daily movement can go up to 3%)
3. FX will have lowest volatility compared to above 2. (Daily movement on average is just under 1%)

Of course, all with same level of leverage.

For shares trading, I think there is a limit on the amount of leverage you can go. Hence without leverage, it will actually be the least risky to me.

I mainly play futures, not experienced on options.
