What kind of PSU would I need for a 7850K? How much power would it draw when over clocked? I'm not planning to add a dedicated graphics card but I thought about water cooling kit.

Looks like even an unit like the Seasonic G 360 would be enough. Or should I rather go for 450w, 500w or 550w...

A8-7600 APU
Manage to dig up just one FM2+ mobo from my renovation mess and found a little time to boot it up for a short run.

No more time to dig up the other mobos cos flying off tomorrow liao for a short break.

The Asrock FM2A88X-ITX+ has no problems doing POST and running on an older BIOS version P1.90. FYI, the officially supported BIOS version is actually P2.40.

Just some quickie benchies...

The A8-7600 should be out at SLS already available or soon enough cos Convergent had posted its arrival locally a few days back on their Facebook page. Do post your findings if you do happen to nab one.

PRICE CUTS: AMD kaveri/trinity/richland apus

googling "amd kaveri" gives me this piece of yummy news. finally a price i'm more willing to pay for kaveri! a fun chip to play around with, learn programming all over again using its HSA, to surf, watch movies, play old 3d/2d games on winxp! YES WINXP!
We have a Global Foundries here in SG but seems like they export their products overseas b4 our distributors import them back=>long wait and higher price than webstores.
