wow 8GB? its seems like amd always likes to give more rams =:p maybe 490 or 490x have 12GB ram :eek:

Performance for polaris is more of a tdp reduction rather than more performance. So hopefully they reduce it to a much lower tdp just like how they did on their Nano. Then it is worth looking at.

GPU is "embarrassingly parallel"

TDP reduction just results in more shaders/TMU/*** being thrown at it until it meets TDP target.
