Hopefully the IPC gain is double digit. Otherwise, AMD is going down the frequency path already.Let the beta testers go first, will only consider buying in at the 2nd/3rd iteration..![]()
Fall 2022 (in the article got mention, not I guess)release when?
to indicate the performance lead according to rumors...like geekbench 39% lead then must big big number write behindwhy this thread name so familiar one ah
but 5.5GHz during gaming is quite a lot vs 5950x. Then don't know will have 3D cache version or not, also the 24 cores model.Current Ryzen 9 users should be alright with the system as the uplift of 15% on single threaded performance just similar from Zen 2 to Zen 3.
Improvement in L2 cache but no news on L3 cache.

so far, previous AMD showcase those frequency is user achievable not extreme case. I think this is easily obtainable clock.the 5.5Ghz I am guessing it is OC extreme results even i can reach 5.1GHz spike on my 5900x if i activate the fmax function in asus board.
ya it sort of missing the 3D cache info, nevethess it is confirm zen 4 cpu of 7000 series max only up to 16 cores model just like 5950x
Hopefully but need to wait another 5 to 6 months for the YouTube review on amd claimsso far, previous AMD showcase those frequency is user achievable not extreme case. I think this is easily obtainable clock.
