深坑老街 and 三峽老街

went to 三峽老街 recently and plan to go 深坑老街 next time, just wondering if all these 老街 ard Taipei are the same and anything set them apart?

As what i saw in 三峽 and compared the photo online of 深坑 look Kinda similar in terms of architectural and attractions

Yap. You should try yingge if you want to check out pottery. It's famous for pottery making/baking.

Accessible by TRA train.

Thanks, not sure if my family is keen or pottery stuff but I do know 深坑 is know for their 豆腐.

深坑 is for 豆腐. I've been there once. If you like 豆腐, then worth a visit. But the old street is quite short, so can finish the street within an hour. After that, can go to the nearby zoo or maokong.

Yep, 深坑老街 mainly for stinky tofu. The shops at the entrance selling fried stinky tofu have long queues! Very crowded! But the pathway is much wider than jiufen.

I am kinda ok with stinky tofu :p but besides the two mentioned, any other 老街 near Taipei area to go except Jiufen (too crowded), thanks
