Synopsis from movieXclusive.com:

Synopsis: A famous Chinese Yuan Dynasty painting known as "Dwelling in Fuchun Mountains" is stolen and sold on the black market and it is up to special agent Jinhan to recover it. Jinhan and his wife have drifted apart due to the secret nature of his work and Jinhan is unaware that is wife is also a special agent who was tasked with protecting the painting.

Movie stars Andy Lau, Zhang Jingchu, Lin Chiling and Tong Dawei. Opens on 2 May.

the trailer is a yawn ... I think we really have had enough of heist or grand theft movies for a while ...

I miss the goold-old HK flicks from the 70s, 80s and early 90s. They are bold, inventive and genre-defining. Now, these collaborations with China are stale and uninspiring.

Especially when there are so many of them suddenly .. Wasn't there a heist movie from a HK-korea collaboration just very recently?

Switch looks more like a Mr & Mrs Smith wannabe.

It's sad that these big-budget China-HK collaborations seem to lack ingenuity and are often unwatchable with lots of fake-looking CGI and uninteresting premise. China still has a long way to go before it can even catch up with Hollywood and churning tons of over-commercialized junks will not help.
