Antivirus on iphone?

Found it rather odd people are recommending installing antivirus on iphone. Just curious how many of you have done so?

I thought its pointless since its not running in the background like antivirus on a mac.

Yeah I figured which is why i was surprised Cyber Security Agency of Singapore of all people mentioned antivirus for iphone. So none of you use it eh? Lol!

I think the iPhone or iOS is built and designed such that viruses are not much of a threat to its system.

So no, I’ve nvr used any antivirus softwares in 14 years of using the iPhone

I think it's about risk adverseness and also being balanced.

If they say android need but ios don't need. ppl may see it as playing favourites

I guess generally, iOS still better then Android, but still need to be vigilant, you never know hackers always 1 step ahead.
