Hi all. anyone buy from Mega Discount Store Pte Ltd before? Any comments on their service, their electrical products etc?

saw that they are having sale on Rakuten website and thinking whether should i buy from them or nt.

Got my TV, washing machine, fridge, rice cooker, vacuum cleaner and home phone from the branch in novena. Cheapest price compared to Harvey Norman, courts and mustafa. They will also match or the lower price. No issues with the items soo far after 1.5 yrs.

I ordered my items 3-4 mths before taking delivery. In that time, I often looked at prices at other places and none were cheaper.

Unless its parallel import if not I'm sure they get their products from the same source as Harvey Norman, Best Denki, etc so even if there's problems, its probably just your bad luck, not that because Mega Discount Store is cheap hence got problem.

Do you homework before buying.

Basically what they do is remove the freebies and give you good price.

example my 75" tv, they remove the islandwide 43" tv free and minus offf $300 . Only realize after some time.

Pariss is another good shop to buy too.

Most of my stuff from them - good service, good prices (also matched some of the items to when I managed to find them cheaper elsewhere). Not sure if the sales person who serviced us is still around but you can try Andy at the Novena branch. He might look ah beng ah beng but is really a nice guy.

I am very sure they are not the best priced. you need to show your lowest price for them to match. but their low price guarantee is trustworthy. if they cant match, they will tell you and refund you the money...

but to say ... i rather go HN

megadiscount store... Price is ok ... I think cheaper than most ... of the store out there ..Bought a fridge with the NEA voucher ...remember must go down in person if you want to use the 150 dollar voucher ..

I also go my electrical stuffs from them 7 years ago, I am quite sure the prices I got is among the lowest in Singapore. I got ask around, all the rest quote me higher prices. You talk to them nicely and discuss, the price can be lower one.
