I cook on Sundays for my weekday lunches, just refrigerate and not freeze. They've always been able to last till Friday, I've been doing this for 3 years now.

I wonder if nutrients are lost when you freeze and reheat.

I do meal prep every week. Some food are still nice, some are not.

Generally, most noodles don't stay nice, especially soupy ones. Stir fried kway teow (dry kind that you don't add any water to cook it) is one of the few exceptions.

Test the food you like by freezing a small portion.

It’s not unhealthy.

It’s potentially unsafe.

Because you don’t have the flash freeze technology that industrials are using

That immediately lock out bacteria etc

Think I read somewhere, a family reheat spaghetti from few days ago to eat.
Dieded or became seriously ill.

So have to be careful

Possibly for certain food that spoils quicker, but so far I've found refrigeration to be more than adequate, and I don't like how freezing changes the texture of vegetables. It could also be that I usually pack the food right after cooking while it's still hot, so there's very little chance of bacteria being introduced from elsewhere.

Any good recipe to share or how you store?
I store them in the square glass tupperwares from ikea.

I make a lot of stew then I'll serve them with some sort of carbs (rice, potatoes or noodles), noodles are more troublesome because I find that they don't keep as well, so I have to make them the day before and pack it separately so it doesn't get soggy. For this week I made 紅燒牛肉 with some steam vegetables, served with rice/noodles.

Sometimes for ease of preparation I'll do one pot meals like cabbage rice or jambalaya, then top it up with stir fried vegetables. Another easy prep I like to do is roast chicken with roasted vegetables and potatoes, everything can be cooked together in the oven, but add the veg in the last 10 mins because that's all the time they need.
