I'm using i5-4570 (1150 socket), using the stock cpu cooler for 2 years and noticed the noise level is very loud. Planning to buy a new cpu cooler.

Like to hear if there is any cpu cooler recommendation for this model!

go buy the coolermaster t4 from amazon , 23 usd = 32 singapore dollars
largely similar to 212evo except thinner and heatpipe spaced apart

no point paying $65 for 212evo locally

CPU cooler recommendation... That's a concept I haven't encountered for two CPU generations

With current gen CPU drawing 45W and less even the stock hsf is quiet compared to GPU and PSU nowadays, just wash the dust off the stock hsf.

Total TDP may be less but the circuits are packed much closer together meaning that the heat per sq mm is higher than before. Combined with Intel's use of poor TIM starting with Ivy Bridge, a good CPU cooler is still required.

Anyway, the 212 evo is cheap. No point saving on the CPU cooler and risk damage to an expensive CPU.

btw TDP for the i7-6700 is 65W.

Should I go for a AIO cooler or a heatsink and fan cooler? Adv vs disadv?
those AIO cooler , you have more potential failure modes ..... hose leak , pump breakdown , fan breakdown .......... the internal liquid does corrode the aluminum radiator inside over long term , pump will also reduce flow rate over years... weak 2litre per minute flowrate to start with --- not a real replacement to custom watercooling

for heatsink + fan cooler .... fan breakdown = can change very fast and cheap
