You can take a look at the Asus T300chi

Upsides:

It's an aluminium clad Windows 10 Hybrid that has all the bells and whistles found in more expensive laptops - good build quality, great resolution screen and digital pen support but at an affordable price range ($700 - $800 ish )


Downsides:

Unfortunately, it lacks a full sized usb port and would require a separate dongle for usb interfacing.

The keyboard dock interfaces via bluetooth, does not add additional functionality such as extra battery / storage when docked and would require separate charging from the tablet - though battery life is pretty good at 7 days or so of light typing usage.


It also has a smaller more affordable but less power sibling - the T100Chi - and you can check out my take on it over here

I support this choice too. Personally using one also, running with 256GB SSD and 8GB Ram. Mine is the older 2015 model equipped with Pentium N3530 CPU. Comes with 3 USB ports (1 x USB 3.0).

Its relatively lightweight (compared to Asus T300 Chi) and the 2-in-1 mode is a nice feature if you use it to watch movies. Battery life is excellent and drops only about a couple of percent after an hour long of streaming video.

If you read the reviews around, this model is supposed to be one of the better choices out there.
