Hi everyone,

I'm planning to build a new gaming/work pc with the following specs:

Intel i7-4770k $350
ASUS Maximus VI HERO $369
ASUS GTX 760 DCII 2GB OC $405 (any good alternatives?)
2x4G Corsair Vengeance 12800/1600Mhz $115
Corsair Force LS 120GB SSD $139
WD Blue 1TB HDD $77
SuperFlower G850w Gold $179
Corsair Hydro H100 $154

TOTAL: $1788

Planning to get 2 screens and a keyboard so was hoping to get some input on what I should get and suggestions on the parts and if got any nice lobang would be appreciated :D

hmm shall take a look and see. was going for nvidia mainly due to reviews that nvidia is better for gaming also i'll be running it stock and overclocking it in the future. (gotta make use of the unlocked chip right? :s13:)

Hahaha bro that's not true although nvidia cards are more expensive it doesn't mean it's better than amd card. It all depends on what games you are running. For example bf4 will run better in amd cards because it's something like an amd exclusive game and in addition mantle is coming , hence there will be additional performance boost . So it all boils down to the game you are playing and your personal preference. But if you got a budget amd is a more compelling choice.for the processor you are right but you will only benefit from i7 if you are using it for editing videos and photoshop
