Anyone having Steam connectivity issues?

Been having problems with Steam all morning, unable to connect at all. I heard other people have had intermittent connections over the past few days as well. Any of you here facing issues? My ISP is MyRepublic, not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Also a quick check on https://steamstat.us/ shows:

Edit: After waiting a few hours and restarting my PC, it seems I can login now. Will monitor. Let me know if you guys are seeing any similar issues.

Check steam server status. Singapore account management server is operating at 87% .. just retry a few times

Compare the connection managers (CM) of Singapore to the rest of the world....

Issue has returned and this time restarting PC doesn't help anymore. Seems it's affecting a lot of us. We need to submit tickets to Steam so they are aware.

All connections are now monitored for "foreign" influence.... Beware of what you do online.

Anyway, don't reconnect to Steam if prompted, you quit and try again via desktop shortcut. If still fails, open task managers and kill all Steam related processes(E.g Steam Client WebHelper) and launch again.

Actually I have been having issues woth steam for the longest already which made me switch over to origin

Downloads, logins, and even little browsing wouldn't allow me to work on the application properly. Even if i have 50mbps+ of net it wouldn't even get above 10
