Just buy the same remote or something compatible, the seller can advice. Bought a few Panasonic ones, all working fine.

Same as thread on TV remote control

Buy universal remote control and program
Buy those infra red emitter controlled by your phone using wifi
Use infra red emitter in your China phone if you have it

tried this before
can say that it works but like a hit & miss

bought once when it did worked but at another time to get its replacement (already spoiled) it didn't work

for TV, it's not even compatible at all, even tho' the list stated included the tv model that we have :s22:

eh, this is not tv remote controller. aircon remote controller.
it only work for aircon, can sync up to 1000 diff model aircon.

so far so good. never spoil.

u can buy broadlink to control ur IR devices.... no need remote controller.

did bought the latter as well but didn't work
for AC it works but when it spoiled to get a new one, it doesn't

that was my intended message earlier :spin:

Pakcik bought both original and substitute remotes previously. For simple functions, the $10 remote works fine. But for more complex (if your A/C has them), the original is better. So it depends on your needs and a/c model.

Several years ago I bought one cos the original remote control was spoilt. From the store near my block. It worked fine.
But recently kaput. So bought another at the same shop. Exactly the same except for the words " for mitsubishi"
This one is problematic. Have to reset it frequently , usually lasts a day or 2. Set the mode, the temperature, the fan , the vent, the clock . 🤦‍♀️ Almost every time I use it.
Looked at Lazada and Shopee. Checked the descriptions for what models they are for. My model wasn't included in any of them. Contacted one of the sellers. He said no have, just go get a universal one. But when I checked last night, the "universal " ones also have model numbers listed. None have mine
i thought they go by brand, not model.

unless ur brand not listed or aircon is older than 20 years, should work fine.

i just spent $2 and try.... i go retail see.. third party remote $10+ lol
