It's obvious that there's two systems in place, one for FT one for citizens

I dont want my future sons to sacrifice and protect the country that doesnt protect the interest of its own citizens

I think most countries will favour its people to some extent. have to be prepared to be an alien.

Not to mention the 4 seasons, some people might not like as well.

I would like to have a house overseas to go there for good seasons though. Lol. Probably around 50/ 60s in Japan..

For me best chance is kid go study overseas and settle down there, and I go over on long term pass ....but chances are slim.

but because of our government attitude to covid. you would probably end up not being able to migrate because of the color of the passport or the previous country immigration stamp word

Go if able to financially get away.
Rather be 2nd class citizen elsewhere than be treated like a 3rd/4th class citizen on own home soil.

But keep in mind, you be exchanging safety and ease of amenities for a peace of mind or slower pace of life.

Wont look and compare at simi higher lower tax, if you are financially able to flex, then this would one of the least concerns.

Move and see the world.
Enjoy the vast blue skies.
Dont just stare skywards in a well and just agree with others that sky is blue.
