Anyone here staying in 2 room BTO?

No plan to work until that old, me left kitchen cabinet, monitor and new pc then really can retired or change part time
Yesterday no work saw my neighbours stayed 2 room near my unit...
I asked him can view his 2 room unit for 38 sqm.
The unit if 1 person stay was enough.The store room look small...if I want buy 2room 1 person is enough;)
His room no cabinet just install the clothes hanging pole in the room and living room...no sofa...very simple...;)

He stayed with his son and his son was navy diver OCS officer...;)

Yes one person is enough but 2 persons will be quite small for a 38sqm.

I think 1 person easy to clean up too:)
The 2 room master room can put 2 bed room more bigger than common room bcos I can put 2 bed about 120 sq ft per room and can put cabinet too...;)

My sibling will go down sign agreement lease in march for 2 room bto for 48sq m.
Recently I ask her bought 99yrs lease so if she was not around can give to our nepnew's.
She want change to 40 yrs lease and ask for hdb and can opt for change.
She think now 56yo when get bto about 59yo so more than enough years dnt want have too much debt..I let her decide to change 40 yrs lease instead...;)

56 years old get 2 rm bto why still apply 99 years? 99 years lease is for single who apply at 35. Senior scheme got shorter lease and cheaper yes. But dun think hdb allow to change as ur sibling already selected flat in 1st appointment.

Unless she need the money for retirement, else I suggest she stick to 99y lease. I remembered you said she got a good q number, so should be high flr with good resale value. Can sell it away when she is gone n let her children pocket the profit.

PAP will be here for 100y, with their open legs policy, hdb flats are always in demand.

Me prefer to cook, so a cabinet is a must

I dont think I can live as simple as him

that chee Hong felle desperate to build more bto, see his pattern no matter leg open how wide also cannot keep up
