yes why not, can use wechat , alipay , ocbc pay, changi pay, cash can use also but some stores might not have change.

Alipay or WeiXin.

I used zero cash when I went for a 10 day trip to Harbin - Chang Bai Shan. Even at the small towns along the way or roadside hawkers at Xi-An, all can use Alipay.

Alipay+ seems like the payment mean/ mode for merchants.

I think can link your card to alipay and try to pay in sg shops that accept the payment.

Yeah, my alipay can send n rcv cny but outward cannot to sgd acct only. So hv to spend in caina. If not then u can bai alot of orange juice in sg

But the alipay and wechat pay we install, I don't think can be used outside of china. Need to install the china version of alipay which links to their china bank account

Wechat is more popular in China and for sinkies can easily just link our wechat to youtrip for payment.

Going Shanghai soon. I'll use cash but standby changipay.

Went Beijing last year and I only used cash. No sweat. I asked shops whether can use cash and one told me they are not allowed to reject.

Yes YouTrip can link to both WeChatPay and alipay. More than 200rmb got 3% surcharge. Yes alipay can use for both Didi (their grab) and metro (scan code).

non Chinese citizens are unable to use Alipay & wechat to make payment outside China.

Makes life pretty convinent. Of coz when ever they accept cash i will pay by cash

Only thing i cant understand is why alipay works in china but doesnt when i cross over to hk.
