Using the Xtia xproto. Initially think that it is cool and all. But overall after a couple of months. The dust build up is minimal on the top of every component surface.

Oxidisation wise not so much. But open case is not for everyone. You got kids running up and down. Then best not to have open case. Spillage of water or milk can be serious damage.

Oxidation wise. If your room/place quite stuffy and you vape or smoke a lot. Then likely your parts not only oxidised faster. You get a weird smell on the PC parts.

Open concept is nice. It looks nice and air flow is not a problem. However, the main issue is dust. In a case, you will always find fine dust, whether you have dust filters in place or not. For open concept, its worst because anything can land on the components. Many years ago, I tried running my system with the side panel opened and a fan blowing at it. 3 months later, there is a lot of dust on the CPU fan, and on the components.

Open case easier to maintain + clean. I've used open benchtables and all you need is to use a swiffer and dust it once a week...less than 30seconds. No issue. I'm going for an open case with my next build :)

Bro, you order direct from their website?
Also wanted to check if you using their V2 model which includes the power switch? Whether we need to purchase anything else?

I have the V1 of the BC1 mini. Get the V2 definitely since it's mostly the same price. Better adaptability, and yeah the power button would be nice.

I purchased the yuelbeast calypso. Should be arriving soon.
