Anyone managed to install qq?

Seems like a lot of them use it. I tried the China version,when registering my phone it says I must use the latest version but I'm already using the latest. Also tried qq international but it keeps crashing on my xiaomi redmi 7.

Anyone installed successfully?

Most QQ users have moved on to WeChat. WeChat has better support than QQ.

The version downloaded from Google Play Store has the issue you mentioned. It seems to be an older version.

The version from QQ website can be installed under my Huawei P20 (SingTel set) but they are limiting new users from registration. So I did not bother.

Effectively they are discouraging foreigners from using QQ. So unless you have good reason, just give up on using QQ and use WeChat instead. Right now mostly young people are active in QQ and majority of users are using WeChat more often.
