So now everyone move over from Taobao to Pinduoduo? What's so special about it? I just downloaded the PDD app...got discounts meh?

My 踩雷 purchases on PDD so far
- Fake vietnam coffee. Made in china. Tasteless and alot of leftover residue.
- Fake aroma essence for diffuser/nebulizer. Advertised as high concentration oil based but its highly diluted with water or alcohol.

To a lesser extent, i ordered this super tall/thick memory foam pillow.

No issues with the dimensions/thickness but the foam itself is pretty soft so your neck and head will sink into the pillow which kinda defeats the point of having a thick pillow. But i am getting used to the feeling and liking it more and more.

1 reliable way to buy things like pillows and mattresses is to ask the seller 2 questions:

1. what is the density?

Sellers often fake this rating in their description.

45D (45m³/kg) is soft, 95D (95m³/kg) is hard. U need to go to physical shop and try out to figure what is the softness that you are accustomed to and remember that number.

2. What is the weight of the mattress/pillow?

The answer given has to be real as the sellers know u can weigh the item yourself to find out.

With these 2 answers, u calculate the volume of the pillow/mattress with the dimensions. d = m/v. Then u can know whether the CS is smoking u.

I find that more that 50% of the pdd sellers fake the density rating. If d, m, v tally, you know at least the shop is honest about density. It still doesn't guarantee that the material is real/pure. But u quantify the risk and decide whether or not to purchase.

How cheap? Even tio scam I also no heart pain .... everything is cheap on PDD

All Regulated Goods supplied or sold in Singapore must comply with MEPS and MELS requirements. Regulated Goods imported directly by end-users (i.e. not bought from local suppliers or retailers) for their own use are currently not subject to MEPS and MELS requirements.

Maribank CSO said the WeChat account receiving the money need to have China ID, it's not meant to be used to top up SG WeChat wallets. Ask liao.

Think in future better state clearly if you tried it and works, cos I see others also under the same impression that it does.

I tried to transfer $20 before realizing that I also needed to turn on Overseas Payment acceptance. Now have to wait 2-3 days for the money to transferred back since it doesn't work.

Think the only other way to top up WeChat wallet is to find a China friend to transfer money to you. Can only transfer from one WeChat account to another. That one confirm works.

Just an update, I just tried and successfully transferred from MariBank to my own WeChat wallet. Not sure if anything has changed but it seems like it is now enabled for overseas WeChat accounts.

Just an update, I just tried and successfully transferred from MariBank to my own WeChat wallet. Not sure if anything has changed but it seems like it is now enabled for overseas WeChat accounts.

Followed the instructions which says must search for this "Tenpay Global" within WeChat and create a namecard in order to receive transferred funds. But whenever i tried to click "创建名片" the app will show 系统繁忙. Been like this for the past 2 days.

Thanks I just tried and it works.
Search the mini program 跨境汇款 to receive the funds.
Only took a few minutes for the balance in WeChat pay to be credited.
