AliExpress/Alibaba is the international arm of Taobao, its outside the tiongkok great firewall, why a ahtiong want visit it if they just goto toabao ? similarly, Joybuy is the europe arm of JD.com.My China friends tell me Alibaba is for foreigners that cannot read Chinese and made to pay a premium for it.
PDD on the other hand is known for poor quality goods and dodgy sellers. That's why the items there are so cheap and there's a reason. Why Taobao don't allow some of the sellers is also due to quality and reputation.
That's what they told me.
I don't trust side loading apps which covers financial payments. There must be a reason for Android to ban this app on their platform and for banning it for so long.
PDD is where I pickup cheap&cheerful china products, at a fraction of the price or can't find on amazon.
I won't buy a iPhone, NB, EV from JD.com (like our china counterparts), as little reddot already flooded with genuine international products.
Each of these platform serve a particular segment needs...
