anyone using yale digital lock with flip cover finger print scanner?

mine after 3yrs of use suddenly recently the flip cover need wait 5 6 seconds then the scanner "wakes up"

anyone same problem. any diy fix?

im using Yale flip digtal lock too.. but less than 2 years.. no issue.. issit too much dirt liao... so harder...

No. Last legs liao.

throw away buy new one.

i changed mine to Samsung. Yale one these days abit CMI

the scanning still works fine. just that when u slide open the flap it take v long to wakeup to be ready for scan

Used Yale digital lock for 5 years+, then one day the fingerprint scanner suddenly dun work and I Kenna locked out.

End up got a locksmith to drill and destroy the whole lock before I can get into the house again.

Using old traditional mechanical lock ever since

Heng I use Samsung (dp930). Installed on Jan 2018 and the mechanism is still working like normal till now. The only time I faced problem was when I had HFMD and my fingerprints were affected badly. Had to use the smart tag to tide over that period.

Made in korea is better. Same for cars. No matter how you whack also no problem…
