Anything like auto connect with certain network?

My iphone's wifi is on permanently which is a battery drain. But if I shut off, I'm likely to forget to turn it on when I go to certain places such as office and home.

Is it possible to turn off the wifi but configure the phone such that even though the wifi is off, when it reaches my office and home, it can auto log in to the network and once I leave the place, the wifi auto off again?

My iPhone 6 Plus wifi constantly ON (24/7) but battery never drain.

If I fully charged my phone to 100% and went to bed say around midnight with the router off, next morning when I woke up, the battery still remain at 100%.

i disable "ask to join networks". it doesn't seem to drain badly...

why would u need to off wifi?

it also improves location services...

Well I've read that battery is wasted if the phone keeps trying to find wifi signals esp when you are in a shopping mall. And if my phone only taps to my home and office wifi then why waste battery letting the phone scan 24/7? Besides most of these signals my phone tap on to are secured so its not as though I can use them anyway.
