Snapdragon good but lack support for software.
Nividia got software makers support since its big enough + Cuda influence + "AI is future" triple bluff.
ya... like ms surface runs on snapdragon.. but u cant install some software

Both are ARM based and designed for lower power. Of course, Apple Silicon with iGPU can compete with AMD or INTC iGPU. But serious games use discrete GPU and topline CPU. Power is not an issue.

thats why nvidia throw us gamers under the bus...
if high end or ai can afford rtx 5090 at 5000k thats the point for them

Selling AI is more profitable. Nvidia still wants the GPU market just in case AI chip demand collapse. Base on the performance of the current 5000 series GPU, it's evident that Nvidia is keeping its GPU in the back burner.

Assumming you referring the RTX Spark with Windows OS, announced in Computex2026.

Still no fighting chance, the Nvidia RTX Spark ARM architecture is 2yrs behind apple, only the Blackwell GPU is good. Nvidia RTX Spark, only comes with 128GB memory option, so if you not LLM A.I dev this is practically a waste... Even you are a large LLM A.I dev, you will probably end-up use the more powerful cloud HW.

At this moment, Nvidia targeted market segment is very very narrow.... The desktop Nvidia Spark GB10, already commanding >10K SGD, (as i'm shopping for one). So the laptop version (128GB) will definitely not costing less....

Apple just increased prices, pretty much everything went up in price by $2000-3000

I think 128GB M5 Max 16" MBP was ~6700? now its $9999

RTX Spark is expensive, but Mac may be more expensive now.

Intel tried with their B series cards but they have problems with their drivers. They still are also struggling to market with their cpus too.

AMD gpus also half decent making Nvidia into God-like status.

Consumers needs new players into the market ASAP before it becomes more out of control.

The likes of DRAM makers have also become God-like.

Initiatives like BOLT and China ram making capabilities is our last hope before the PC space and it's related industries like mainboard and peripheral makers starts folding.

That only leaves us with pre-built choices like Apple and windows devices. No more diy.
