If I just want to go to an Apple Store and buy a new iPad, do I need an appointment? I don't need to shop "one-on-one with a specialist". What's the status these days?

You will need to book an appointment to do "shopping". Unless you buy from website/apps you can schedule to pick up. (Pick up is not the same as Shopping appointment")

Everyday go whack the appointment page online at 8 am. Should be able to get an appointment in 2 days advance. You can still walk in, they will manage the queue, they will do a slot for u probably need to wait a couple of hours or more.

If you know what you are going after. Try to order and deliver to your address instead.

Although Apple Store has been in Singapore for a while, I only went into apple store 1 time.

It was this year iphone 12 launch date. I was there to collect my watch.

I would say, if you like to see hot babes and hot hunks, it worth a shot to go.

I will still prefer to send to my address for my next purchase.

Haha you must be super rich or desperate if you buy from Authorised Retail Store :s22:

Ya. Apple Authorised Reseller still selling same price as it is controlled price. And sometime due to certain vouchers or promotion you have for the store (Challenger, Harvey Norman, Best, etc), you may even get cheaper.
