Not sure which forum best to post this qs. I created new post cos the other apple tv seems to be more hardware based

Anyway, the one year free Apple TV+ subcription with the purchase of buying mac hardware only starts when you actually click on it right? It doesnt follow the purchase of said hardware?

Yah i guess, it would make sense not to tag on the date of purchase of the hardware. It should only start when you click and use the subscription

That is correct.

My Apple TV+ subscription only started to tick this May when I finally decided to take a look at Apple TV+ even though I bought the iPad 2019 in January.

Nothing much IMHO. But that is probably because I am more interested in Chinese Entertainment.

Yup. I have to use the RSS player on my iPhone & cast to my Apple TV to watch my TVB & CN dramas.

However, ease of use & stability beats my Android TV Box flat.
