reasonable price that's about it... the rest of the famous restaurants will be a little too expensive for my party!

Hmm, there are famous restaurants that serve lunch sets are a fraction of the dinner sets. You can check some of them out.

I did consider Nobu but I've struck it off when I saw a show on Nobu Japan on TV yesterday, wasn't really "Japanese" to my liking. Still too much western influence.

If the budget is 25k yen and below per pax, tink can try a lot of good restaurants in Tokyo.

At kyubey, if serve by the master himself then the price will be different.

Lunch set mostly they go by pieces, eg 10 piece certain price, 15 pieces another price, etc.

Even sushi kanesaka lunch also like that. But mostly serve by his apprentice.

But it a good experience.

Nowadays the pricing in ginza for dinner is around 20k to 25k yen per pax. Before Fukushima incidents, was 15k to 20k yen.

Hmm I budgeted 300k yen for food for 13 days. Prob should have enough to have a nice sushi meal if I don't splurge everyday I think.

The other place I want to try is asakusa imahan.

I don't eat beef thus no comment about asakusa imahan. Maybe some bro or sis will advice on that.

Of coz, there r many choices in where to eat etc, but if u run out dinner idea where to eat for sushi in ginza, I can recommend u the place called sushi Harada

It one of the sushi place recommended by tetsuya wakuda in his article Tokyo address book in gourmet traveller. Chef kyubey-San himself also like to go there for his dinner.
