From my limited demo playthrough experience. ArcheAge Chronicles is an action RPG MMORPG, being an action combat system, that alone is not very attractive to wide audience. The action combat is based on combos of light, heavy and directional movement keys, depending on the unlocked talents tree, you will be able to trigger skills effect base on these combos chains.

Unlike original ArcheAge, ArcheAge Chronicles is not faction splitted. Like Archeage, you get to cut trees, mine ores, hunt etc, there is no sea related content during demo so I am unsure sea fishing will be a thing.

It is an buy-to-play model and EA will be available 4-Nov-2026. There will be an Singapore server.
