I am looking to purchase either an Archer C80 or AX10 to use the OneMesh feature with my existing TL-WPA8631P powerline adaptor.

The price is almost the same.

Would appreciate some help on which is the better model.

For sure I will go with AX10, which is WiFi 6 and has a faster CPU (BCM6750 tri-core ARM Cortex A7 1.5GHz CPU, same as Asus RT-AX58U/AX82U) than the Archer C80 (MediaTek 1.2GHz dual Core MIPS core CPU)

Thanks all for the replies.

Another option I found is the Deco HC4, which is a pair of mesh routers, for only around $10 more.

It is Wifi 5, but a pair of these combined with my existing powerline adapter may give a really good signal around the house.

Any thoughts?

Actually I am not very sure what advantage this format/shape of device has over the regular router design. So if I am looking in the wrong place let me know.

Edit: Found out that Deco does not support OneMesh. So cannot use this.

Currently my setup is modem/router (non wireless) -> Xiaomi router 3G (hall wifi) -> powerline adapter (bed room wifi). Since Xiaomi router is non mesh compatible I will either stop using it or maybe move it to the work room to connect to fixed devices like PC.

I am considering the AX20 because of the additional features. Is the current price 129 considered good? I don't mind waiting if likely to drop.

I have a AX10. Chuck it aside but since the update is here for OneMesh, was thinking of pairing it with their range extender. Anyone tried this?
