I used to think step 2 all the time when i was younger. Always overthinking when i try a new job. A lot of “what if”. Now just go n do it without thinkingDon't think one thing can cover life lesson, but here's mine of many things:
1. Live simple.
2. Hack your life.
3. If you are successful, stay low profile, if not, stay high until you make it.
4. Don't think too much, if something you feel worth to do it, just do it, and always ask what's there to lose anyway?
5. Don't think of step 2 until you done step 1, because step 1 outcome determines your step 2, and doing this help you to do reality check.
6. Whatever you do, give deadline and timeline because anything that worth doing has time limit.
No one can be trusted except yourself. Everyone around you is devil. For me is don't need to compare. Be content.
For me, it is realise that if it require big effort on your part to pursue a girl, it is a big probability that she didn’t 看上你。high probability that you two won’t be together, even together, she will resent you easily. For me is don't need to compare. Be content.
1. Not all your people are your friends, some will take advantage of you.For me is don't need to compare. Be content.
What I learned is health is wealth. If you have money but no health you can’t enjoy your wealth. Health is the most important for moi. Some stuff "over-rated", not as fantastic nor critical as it seems, eg:
-kids= overated, nothing wrong if childless
-marriage/spouse/weddings = overated, nothing wrong if single
-money=overated, can't buy happiness with $$
-costly exotic far-away hols =overated (some prefer chill Sg, not long-haul flights/ jet-lag )
-branded stuff +consumerism +fancy cars = overated
Conversely .."good-health, exercise, nutrition, religion, simplicity, zen, peace" maybe "under-rated"
