Asbestos found in stone(diatomite) bath mats

I believe many of us are using such stone bath mats.

Any concern since ours also sure to be from China? I have already sanded them a few times liao.

Is HSA aware of this?

Either rotary sander or sandpaper.

I had those and I used an N95 mask while sanding mine. Even if not asbestos, I wouldn't want diatomic particles getting into my lungs

Wat the fish! diatomaceous earth is such an interesting element, too bad these mats are contaminated with asbestos, otherwise they make great absorbent mats.
