Personally, I think TN panel is hard to justify unless it's really cheap since prices of a decent IPS panel with good response time is quite affordable already e.g AOC 24g2

so i should go for IPS and not TN? cos alot of gaming monitor i found they like more to TN panel

Go to a physical store and try out the panel types. Generally speaking, TN has the worst image quality and not so desirable viewing angle but offers the fastest response time but IPS nowadays are catching up with responses time while offering good color accuracy and viewing angles but have a risk of blacklight bleed & IPS glow.

ok i have narrow myself to these 2 monitor

1) BenQ MOBIUZ EX2510S
2) Asus TUF Gaming VG259QR

so which one should i go?

PS: my current monitor is BenQ also

TN Panel for web browsing....the whites are abit yellowish..
i previously had the benq Xl2546 240hz monitor...and its TN. Though its a very smooth monitor, the colors really suck...when i surf chrome or any internet browser, somehow the image and colors really sucky.

After which i sold and bought the VG259QM which is a 280hz IPS monitor. That monitor is superb.. smooth 280hz whilst having IPS monitor color reproduction. Much better than the BenQ 240hz panel.

yup but if i were u i will just get the asus since its 165hz compared to benq 144hz. Both brands are good.

ok thanks for your advice.

only concern for asus to me is the power is not standard PC power cord but go through transformer whille benq is those pc type power cord.

means if i get asus have to change or readjust cable managment....anyway small matter

any others can advice me ?

Direct power cord = less cable clutter
External power brick = easier to replace

power brick u need to find same brick due to amp and power....

Direct power cord doesn't mean there is no power brick.
It means the "power brick" ( power board ) is inside the monitor.
