Asus Windows 11 Freezing

Hi! I would like to check if anybody facing the same problem? Using Asus x470, 3700x. Came from Windows 10 but did a clean installation of Windows 11. Upgraded to the latest BIOS too. My computer just randomly freeze when using word or watching videos.

Very close to my system spec except mine was 3800x and win 11 was upgrade version without vbs on.

You may want to consider disabled vbs and test if more stable

Installed the latest drivers already. Still the same issue. Saw some threads about the freezing on Reddit and thinking if any Asus users here have the same issue.

Try clear CMOS. Take out the battery for 10-15 seconds then put it back.

Try setting your windows power plan to high performance first. I had something similar like this but it was due to chipset drivers. Something about c-states. Try setting to high performance first and see if that solves your problem.

W11 is not to be touched yet. wait till 2025

Dunno why is everybody is such a rush to update to Win 11 on older systems.
I stayed on Win 7 until Win 10 free upgrade expiry was almost up before switching over.

Think some think new OS is better like phone, phone new OS new feature
but PC and phone different.

same. i stayed on win 7 until JUNE 2020. When they finally stopped issuing updates altogether,

Free lunch always long queue yes always kan cheong spider for major free stuff

GPU not free and expensive but still many rushing to buy

New Game are expensive (cyberpunk/2042) release with all bugs also got people buying irrespective stable or not even NEW WORLDS crash the GPU still people are playing.

resistance to new OS is common and there is always Observer (inexperience) VS Adventurer (experience).
